A Chossid cries, his Rebbe’s hidden from his eyes,
He feels so alone and despondent,
How can we carry on, when our Rebbe seems so far,
The future unsure so uncertain.
The chain to his king, is breaking link by link,
The flame in his soul, is fading constantly,
Just then he reads, א נא נפשי -כתבית י-הבית the Rebbe’s here.
Chorus: When you read the Rebbe’s teachings every day,
You’ll see he’d put himself in every word he’d say.
Like an artist to a frame, the Rebbe shows us his great ways,
Be connected to the Rebbe, light the flame.
If we open up our eyes, we will see that in disguise,
The Rebbe’s leading us to the light.
Every time, that we read a line,
We are מקושר to our Rebbe, to our guide.
