Sitting in Yeshivah, thinking silently,
Knowing what he is, and what a Tamim has to be,
He feels so far, from where he must be,
Oh, what will ever become of me?
But then it flashed before his mind,
At Farbrengens every time,
The Rebbe spoke to him so sharp and clear,
He wipes a tear from on his face,
He finally has found his place,
The Rebbe shows, a Tamim is so dear,
Chitas, Rambam every day,
Going in the Rebbe’s way,
Striving constantly for greater heights,
Having love for every Jew,
Thinking—before all I do,
A true Cheshbon HaNefesh every night,
Although it’s hard, a constant fight,
I’ll stand through this Golus night,
Until the true—Or of Geulah comes,
A Tamim I will always be,
I’ll do my mission perfectly,
To see the Rebbe Taikef Umiyad!
